Responsibilities

The Le@rning Federation, as a collaborative community, is composed of various groups, each with unique responsibilities for the project.

The Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs:

  • commissions work within the framework of an investment agreement.

Australian Education Systems Officials Committee:

  • strategically links TLF goals with the MCEETYA agenda;
  • considers policy requirements;
  • assigns responsibility for management;
  • endorses plans, deliverables and agreements.

School educational jurisdictions:

  • provide advice and expertise;
  • incorporate TLF curriculum content into teaching and learning initiatives;
  • ensure schools and communities have access to, and support in using, TLF digital curriculum content;
  • offer research and feedback to improve online content procurement and use;
  • provide agreed funding in a timely manner.

Curriculum Corporation:

  • delivers the commissioned product in a collaborative environment to agreed standards;
  • provides coordination and brokerage;
  • delivers intellectual property management;
  • provides leadership in research, development, standards and specifications, directions and trends;
  • identifies policy issues;
  • provides operational management.
