The Association of Independent Schools of the ACT (AISACT) continues to raise awareness about The Le@rning Federation and currently has nine schools accessing and integrating TLF resources in the classroom. A number of schools have been exploring the complementary nature of using learning objects with interactive whiteboards with some excellent results.
Until recently TLF learning objects and digital resources could only be accessed via TLF DVDs which were mailed out to the schools from the AIS office. The DVDs contain a search tool and catalogues for browsing and viewing content, which assists discoverability. Since mid-2008, however, schools have also been able to access all TLF digital content through an online repository. Get in touch with your contact liaison officer, Meredith Joslin, for information on access options.
The Le@rning Federation is an initiative of the state, territory and federal governments of Australia
