All New South Wales Department of Education and Training teachers can access all TLF digital learning via the Department's Teaching and Learning Exchange (TaLe). The online curriculum content can be explored or downloaded for incorporation into teaching and learning programs.

Teachers are able to:

  • browse all TLF resources published to date;
  • search TLF learning objects, via keyword, KLA or stage;
  • search TLF digital resources;
  • read a description of each learning object;
  • find information on the TLF initiative;
  • search other online curriculum resources.

Professional development

A professional learning community (PLC) has been established on TaLe – 'Teaching with TLF resources'. This PLC provides an opportunity for teachers to share how they are making effective use of TLF resources in teaching and learning practice. Join the discussion!

Teachers from across NSW can participate in a series of professional development activities with the online curriculum content released to date. They have the opportunity to examine the objects and assets in detail, explore the ways in which they could be used in the classroom and discuss possible implementation strategies.

Case studies highlighting the ways in which teachers are using the online content resources in the classroom are currently in development and will appear on TaLe. Units of work, hints, tips and discussions will also help teachers implement these innovative and engaging resources in their classrooms.
