The Le@rning Federation's curriculum content is available to all Northern Territory teachers and students.
Information about Action Learning with Learning Objects, a professional learning program focusing on the use of TLF educational content as well as integrating other ICTs, is available on the Department of Education and Training (DET) website.
DET, the Northern Territory Library (NTL) and TLF are involved in an exciting collaborative project to digitise 30 items from NTL's collection. A team of three teachers with extensive experience in the teaching of history will research and write the educational value statements for approximately 15 of NTL's bombing of Darwin images.
Similarly, two DET curriculum officers will research and write the educational value statements for the assets with an Indigenous focus. The project will be a valuable professional learning experience for the teachers and librarians involved. It will provide access to a variety of NT-specific resources that are of educational significance beyond the NT.
Information about other NT ICT in education initiatives can be found at the ICT in Schools website.
