The Le@rning Federation Schools Online Curriculum Content Initiative

User focus groups

Print page   Email page

User focus groups are groups of Australian and New Zealand teachers and students who evaluate material produced by The Le@rning Federation.

The feedback is an important part of the content development process. During in-school evaluations, user focus groups evaluate each learning object for educational soundness, functionality, instructional design and the overall fit to the educational purpose for which they were designed. The development team then revises the learning object in response to that feedback.

In recognition of the time involved in the evaluation process, we fund casual teacher relief to schools that participate in in-school evaluations.

Participate in a focus group

If you are an Australian or New Zealand teacher, you can register on behalf of your school to participate in a user focus group. Valuable professional development is provided to teachers who participate. The registration process is easy:
  1. Fill out the online registration form. Once you have completed the form, we will email the details to your school principal.
  2. When your principal provides authorisation we will assess the application.

Please note: it is important that your principal's email address is entered accurately because we cannot consider your school's application until we receive authorisation.
