Project management framework

This document provides an overview of the management systems for the design and development of online curriculum content. It also creates a context for the documentation relating to particular stages in a project.

It is organised under three headings:

  • production process: systems for establishing a project, requesting and evaluating tenders and selecting suppliers, developing content and releasing the objects to educational jurisdictions;
  • methodology: principles of user-centred educational design and features of TLF learning objects;
  • consultative process: the groups that provide quality assurance advice during production, the functions and management of the groups and the criteria for selecting personnel for the groups.

Quality assurance framework for online content development

Audience: those responsible for establishing and maintaining quality assurance processes.

This document covers the design, development, delivery and maintenance of online content. It also creates a context for quality assurance documentation for accessibility, rights, intellectual property, technical specifications, metadata and editorial guides, and the rationale and methodology for in-school evaluations.

It presents the framework under three headings: quality control, implementing the quality assurance framework and content procurement.
