Tertiary institutions

Tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand have access to The Le@rning Federation's digital curriculum content. To secure access, your organisation must have a licence to use the content for teacher training and professional development activities. The licence is free, but is offered for non-commercial educational purposes only.

To find out more about licensing, including a list of licensed universities, visit the Tertiary licensing page.

TLF Content Repository

Licensed tertiary institutions have access to digital curriculum content at the TLF Content Repository.

Through the Repository:

  • discover more than 7,000 items of high-quality curriculum content for teaching and learning;
  • find interactive learning objects, audio files and moving and still images;
  • make use of sophisticated browse, search and filter technology;
  • create personal favourite lists of content.

Further resources for educators

As well as creating content, TLF commissions and conducts trials about the implementation and use of digital content in Australian and New Zealand schools. Reports from 1999 to 2008 are available on the Research and trials page.

You can also select the documents linked below to:

  • read about how Dr Sara Booth integrated learning objects into her Bachelor of Teaching program at the University of Tasmania
  • read a case study that draws on pre-service teacher Brooke Smalley's experience of using TLF digital content in her four-week practicum at Kulkarriya Community School in the Kimberly region of WA
