How to license The Le@rning Federation content

1. Check the list of licensed tertiary institutions to find out if your institution is licensed to use TLF content.

2. If your institution does not have a licence, you can complete an expression of interest form and return it to TLF's Intellectual Property Manager.

3. TLF will forward the licence agreement and supporting materials to the contact person you have nominated.
4. Once the licence is signed and returned to TLF, our online curriculum content will be made available to your organisation.

More about the licence agreement

The licence agreement is between TLF and the relevant peak body. Universities are encouraged to license materials via their peak legal entity so that the licence can cover multiple campuses.

Licence rights, restrictions and responsibilities

Tertiary institutions must familiarise themselves with the complete terms of the licence agreement when it is issued to the contact person nominated; however, key elements to note are:

• use of the content is only for non-commercial educational purposes – no commercialisation of the content is allowed;
• the content must not be put on the internet or in a place where it is publicly accessible – an intranet, however, is suitable;
• the Conditions of use statement summarises the conditions on which content may be used;
• the Conditions of use and Acknowledgments statements must not be separated from the content itself;
• content can only be used within Australia and New Zealand.
